More than 150 musicians from 30 local bands will compete for more than $10,000 in cash & prizes. Prizes include everything from recording studio time, music videos, custom instruments, and fame!

Past winners have used this experience to widen their fan base and further their musical careers; they include- The Fridge, Hive Theory, Ryan Oyer Band, Function, Amber Fults and the Ambivalent Lovers, Strung Like A Horse, Nick Lutsko, Monday Night Social & WTM Blues Band.

The Road to Nightfall 2020 is sponsored by Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union, SongBirds Foundation, SoundCorp’s Take Note, Harmonic Productions, Chattanooga Presents, The Soundry, Dagan Beckett Films, Songbirds South, and Wonder Press.

This competition provides the opportunity to showcase and promote Chattanooga’s local music scene and to expose the Chattanooga market to new local bands they may never have heard before. Furthermore, this offers a great chance for these artists to meet, network and help develop Chattanooga’s music scene.
